You're Invited to Experience the Reflection Cube at Kowtow
We are excited to invite you to join us for a month-long residency at Kowtow on Gertrude Street, where we’ll be showcasing our Reflection Cube. This custom-made mirror box is designed for personal reflection and anonymous participation, inviting you to explore your individual relationship with clothing in a safe, judgement-free space.
How It Works: Participants are encouraged to handwrite a response to a question about the way clothes make them feel, contributing to a wider, open conversation about style, identity, and the emotions tied to what we wear. The aim is to create a supportive, empowering space for reflection — a topic that can often come with feelings of guilt or shame.
This project is an act of soft activism and a reminder that there is no right or wrong way to dress. It’s about embracing our clothes and cultivating a relationship with fashion that’s personal, positive, and empowering.
